Distance Usui Reiki Training
I personally feel that Reiki can be taught distantly. It is not just the attunement that makes the system of Reiki - the knowledge, practice and sharing of Reiki is just as important. If we can work with distance healing then there is no reason why distance attunements cannot work!
I offer a Western Usui Reiki Home Study Course for people who cannot attend an inperson course. Details of the home study course can be found at the bottom of this page - it is important to realise that the lineage for the distance course is NOT the same as for inperson courses. The teachings for the distance course are also different to the in person training. The reason why I do not offer Traditional Japanese Usui Reiki as a distance course is because the teachings of Usui Reiki Ryoho need to be shared face to face. Working with the jumon and meditation inperson is very different to attempting to do it over a distance. I also respect the fact that my teachers do not offer Usui Reiki Ryoho as a distance course.
A home study course enables people who cannot attend an inperson course the opportunity to work with and experience Reiki - perhaps the student is disabled or unable to travel for another reason - home study is ideal in this situation.
